Coverage Terms
Innocent Insured
A policy provision that preserves coverage for insured attorneys who had no knowledge of or involvement in a co-insured's fraudulent, dishonest, or intentional acts. Without this clause, one attorney's misconduct could trigger a policy exclusion that voids coverage for all attorneys insured under the same policy.
